On ARC (Advance Reading Copies) And Such..

I was wondering if anybody can help me on how to get Advance Reading Copies (ARC) of books and free copies from newly released books for PNR and Urban Fantasy authors? Do I contact the publishers? Do they have some criteria before they send you these books? I plan to giveaway books to my blog readers from the Philippines especially since books are usually released here like 1-3 months later than U.S. release dates..yeah so sad :(
If you can help, I would greatly appreciate it!

  1. Based from some of the things that I've read, I think you have to be an established book blogger with a strong following before you can ask for ARCs and yes you have to write to publishers for those. I'm not sure though if they're willing to ship them to the Philippines.

Course, it helps that she's an established author. ;)

  4. It really does take time and effort. I keep thinking that I'm not blogging for the free copies anyway, I'm doing it because I love to read and blogging is fun. :)

By the way, I moved my blog from Livejournal to WordPress. Sorry for the confusion, I just noticed that you still have the Livejournal in your blogroll. :P
